The location

Boipeda is an island separated from the coast by the waters of the sea on two sides.
Boipeba has heavenly beaches.
Boipeba has an exuberant natural tropical environment.

The sea is everywhere, transparent and warm.
There are miles of beaches to walk on, to stop and watch the beautiful views together with opportunities to dive and sail.

You can only access the island by boat. Cars are not allowed.

Velha Boipeba is the name of the village where you will find all you need, just a 10 minute walk from the house.
Boca da Barra Beach is 150m away from Casa Aiti. Moreré Beach is 4 miles from the estate.

Available activities

– on the island: diving, snorkelling, hiking, boat tours, canoeing and horse riding

How to get there?

From Salvador:
– direct speedboat from Salvador to Boipeba (2.5 hours), only on busy days
– by ferry from the maritime terminal of São Joaquim, in Salvador to Bom Despacho in Itaparica island (1 hour). From Bom Despacho: by omnibus (2,5 hours boat) or a taxi to Valença (1,5 hours).
– by boat from Mercado Modelo to Mar Grande (50 min), and then by taxi to Valença (1,5 hours)
– by taxi or car to Valença (aprox. 3 hours).

via Morro de São Paulo: catamaran from Salvador/Mercado Modelo to Morro de São Paulo (2.5 hours), or flight from Salvador to Morro de São Paulo (Abaeté Linhas Aéreas, 25 minutes). After: semi-land transfer to Boipeba (4×4 + boat, 60 min), or speedboat from Morro to Boipeba (60 min)

From Valença or Graciosa
– by fast boat (aprox 1 hour trip in “lancha rapida”).

Once in Boipeba, we can organize a trusted person to wait for you with a luggage cart, and show you the way .
